In a way if it was just a flat surface 7 not press into the shape it is, IMHO would have made it kind of neat to have it resemble it's larger cousins from FW..

Having not built a Stormraven I still haven't a clue though

I've built 3 Stormraven's for my Grey Knights and I don't have a clue what he is on about.

I think he may be referring to the hurricane bolters on the side, that when aimed straight ahead look like they clip the stormraven itself. Most people don't put them on, that's why you guys likely have no clue what's wrong.
