Subject: What dragon model to use for a conversion idea I had (Napoleonic dragon riders)

After hearing a certain book series is getting a movie, I got the idea of combining Victrix Napoleonic figures with a dragon to make some dragon corps.
I was wondering what dragon miniatures are there? (28 mm) These are the traits I'm looking for:
In flight
Large, enough that dragon boarding actions seem realistic
Not too expensive
(Also, the King's own dragon corps, or Le Emporer's imperial dragon corps?)

Four scholars at Oxford were making their way down the street, and happened to see a group of ladies of the evening. “What’s this?” said the first. “A jam of tarts?” “Nay,” said the second, “an essay of Trollope’s.” “Rather, a flourish of strumpets,” advanced the third. “No, gentlemen,” concluded the last. “Here we have an anthology of pros.” |

Would you be talking about Temeraire? There being not much in the way of other decent napoleonic dragon related stuff.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

Yes, thought it would be a cool conversion.

I'm not familiar with boarding actions, so I wouldn't know ho big they're supposed to be. I would suggest Mcfarlane dragons, though. They're cheap, beautifully sculpted and fantastically pre-painted (which is rare for pre-painted goods). Of course you can always repaint them.
