Bear in mind that it's not 50 points, however, it's 60. They cost 30 points each if you're in power armor.
I think you're looking at the points costs for terminator armor - remember that you can only replace things from that set if you buy the terminator armor to begin with.

Also keep in mind that unless you like to live dangerously you want to throw Saga of the Bear on him if he's striking last. At least in my local meta, Eternal Warrior is the only way he'll survive to actually hit anything that I need the hammer for.
