As the title - could Stormbirds carry vehicles such as Land Raiders or Rhino-chassis vehicles inside its hold? Or did Stormbirds only carry Marines?

If there's no clear answer, would it at least be feasible for a Stormbird to be able to carry vehicles in its hold?

Well Thunderhawk Transporters can carry a Land Raider AND a Rhino. Since a Stormbird is bigger and of a similar pattern, one might assume there's a transporter variant.

Stormbirds could carry an entire Company of Astartes and some of their vehicles--so yes, they could.

Stormbird was a massive landing craft used during the Great Crusade and during the Horus Heresy, and was in the process of being phased out when the Heresy erupted.

So, no rules or models then?
Damn, that's a pity. It sounds like an awesome thing to have. Am I right in thinking that it's the IoM version of the Tau Manta?

This.
Probably because the Thunderhawk was faster, more agile and harder to shoot down as a result, making it more ideal for troop insertion.

Isn't it 1 Land Raider OR 2 Rhinos?

Pretty much, yeah.

Cool, thanks! I thought it'd be able to, since it is larger than the Thunderhawk and able to carry a company of Marines. It was more the "in its hold" bit that I was worried about. 'Cause I don't think it'd be very feasible to carry a Defiler like a Thunderhawk carries a Raider or Rhino.

As such, would the Stormbird have separate holds for vehicles and troops? Given how rough insertions can be, I dunno if you'd want a vehicle which could possibly break loose from its restraints in the same space as the troops. Power armour or not, that could still get messy.

If the Stormbird carried vehicles as well then it would have been bigger than a Manta. A Stormbird could carry 100 marines (a company) which is about what a Manta could carry if the lower deck was also used to carry marines instead of the vehicles it often has.
