This is my first list. Think i have the numbers right, if so what should i spend the extra on


Rune Priest (Living Lightning & JotWW) (100)

(X3) Grey Hunter Pack:
Wolf Guard with Combi Melta and Powerfist (95)
8 Grey Hunters, Meltagun, Wolf Standard and Mark of Wulfen (450)
Rhino APC transport (105)

Long Fangs Pack:
1 sergeant, 5 Long Fangs with Missile Launchers (140)
Razorback APC with twin linked lascannon (75)

Total - 965

Also is this a suitable army to vs Tau and Tyranids. Any advice if this isn't the case would be appreciated

Points aren't right. 3 Wolf Guard with Combi-Melta and Power Fist would be 129 points, not 95.

On the plus side, this puts you right at 999/1000 points.

I'd feel comfortable taking that army against all comers at 1000 points. You have a reasonable amount of firepower and more than enough bodies for Objective games.

Maybe add a powerweapon to the grey hunters.
Great list. It slightly lacks character, which is something to think about when using higher points.

I think I would go for 2 grey hunters and 2 longfangs so the fangs do not become a single huge target.
In this sense I feel 1000 pts is not fun for marines as they can not prepare for all threats and have balanced list.

List looks very well built and i agree another longfangs pack would help out tremendously allowing for the for less focus on just one. Also have you thought about dropping fhe mark of the wulfen off?
