I'm not sure of the technical term for it but I've seen it used on some models to create a sort of warp-fire effect on a weapon or clear portion of water as it is splashing up. Does anyone know how to create these effects and what supplies I will need to do it.

Ryzzix does it nicely on his sword and water splash.

I think it can be done with water effects or superglue. Just hold the model upside down to get it to drip.

Have you PM'd Ryzzix? I'm sure he would be happy to tell you how he did it.

My guess is water effects too. From what I hear it is like a whipped-paste-like consistency.

Just layered it up...it goes down white but dries clear. You can tint with a little bit of paint....

For the gloss, I picked up a botttle of GW water effect from my local GS for cost.
