I have recently started a dwarf army and would appreciate any advice.
here is my current list.

I am looking to use it in schools league as my club had no alternative so someone
with knowledge of the scenarios would be best but any advice would be helpful.
Off the top of my head one scenario is set at night so all ranged weapons are reduced to 12inch range
however they get add 1 strength, this is why I have not taken any archers.
Another scenario is similar to the high ground scenario
and another relies on how many models your leader can slay.

Dwarf archers are good. Just because one scenerio might reduce their effectivness isn't a reason not to take them, and it doesn't hurt you as much as other archers as you only lose 1/3 of your range and you gain +1Str. Seems like a bonus to me.


I can't reccomend Khazad Guard enough. They have the same defense as a Dwarf with shield but also have 2 handed weapons, and you have the bodyguard special rule.

You also want to have a banner.
