I was sitting at home watching the last samurai and started thinking up ideas for a samurai based space wolf army. That got me thinking about inspirations in other armies and i would like to know one thing, what inspired the theme in your armies be they simply following a simple rule like big guns or whether they were heavily themed like say samurai

my armies were a massive chaos army where everyone was called steve and a csm army im doing now which is gonna be iron warriors.

Deliverance Lost inspired me to look to building me some Raven Guard, then I realised that the BA codex allowed me to build the army I wanted without any "opponents permission" rules or modifications. The rest is history!

The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the right to an opinion, but crucially, that opinion can be roundly ignored and even made fun of, particularly if it is demonstrably nonsense!” Professor Brian Cox

After reading up on some fluff about Malal (yes, the fifth Chaos God that 'disappeared' thanks to copyright shiz), I have decided to put my Spare CSM and SMs together to create the Axes of malal, a very small Combat Patrol / Kill team / Skirmish army fighting for the true God of Chaos!

Many and varied forces in progress according to waxing & waning whims.

I may never finish an army in my life.

My Guard army is based (loosely) off of my first unit in the Army. I was stationed with 3d ACR... So, my guard army is full on parking lot guard, with lots of Leman Russ tanks, and a few fliers

Oddly enough, I get a lot of my inspiration for my from Elder Scrolls games. Specifically, the Dark Brotherhood.

I can't wait to buy one of these, open the box, peek at the sprues, and then put it back in the box and store it unpainted for years.

I should say why my chaos army was all called steve. Well i watched a web video by little kuriboh where the villain could only control people called steve. He even tricked a chracter to legally change his name to steve lol i had a sorcerer lord so thought up the same so all the charcters were steve and all the regiments were called steve they even had banners with steve on them lol. The sl was called steve aswell because he accidently controlled himself when he miscast lol
