i have an idea to convert the bretonian Green Knight to a Templar Grand Master for my Empire army, i just wanted to know if the model has that realy nice vine pattern indented or not and if the head is removeable and also if the shield is removeable and im also looking for more ideas for the conversion

Well, he's finecast now, so anything is removable with a little effort.

what about the vine detailing they show on the pictures is that part of the model or just painted on?

I'm fairly(95%) certain that it's painted on.

thats a bit of a bummer, i realy dont want to have to paint all that on

Yes, it is indeed painted on.

The only molded detail on the barding is the edges which are raised. The shield is a separate piece, the head is not. Finecast makes converting it much easier than the old metal one.

So are there any other models athat are a good option to convert?
