Good evening guys and gals. Thought I would throw my lists on to see what could be improved. Just in the middle of updating my 5. SS list, building upon a 2. SS list and trialing out my fourth version of my Cdn.

2.SS "Das Reich" SS-Panzerkomapine (Fearless Veteran)(Earth & Steel)

Thoughts. Things that you think maybe a bit wonky?

Hell. Perfect lists. Love it.

My 18t Famo and one of the Hetzers arrived today. Was not aware that the 18t was such a huge model. WOW!

Still no comments on these lists?

I know right off the bat that I am going to keep a Danish Regt for my 5. SS. Works well with my SP Armd Arty. I did notice that the six gun batteries seemed to be unavailable for the 3. & 5. SS lists. Seemed strange that they would drop them. Not a problem at all, as I only have four Wespes.

Grey Wolf briefing is noce so far. Going to spend sometime reading it over tonight.

I still have the old lists (Cobra, River o Heroes) so I can't base on the books you have.

Why the armored Wespes in 2nd SS? For those points you could get 3 Motorized Wespes and 2 tubes of neubelwerfers for laying smoke. Plus you up to 6 platoons which would give you 3 on instead of two. I think that list is going to have a hard time against Tankovy.

No Hetzers in the RoH book, but I would rather drop the Flak 36s ans bump up the Hetzer count if possible. You gain in the on/off with only three off instead of four.

I think I like the second (5th) SS list better. The first list is very cramped with only five platoons I don't think panthers are a good choice for the first list. If it had a 2iC in there to kampgruppe a sixth platoon it would be better.

We play specific to region and timeframe. I know that my three to four friends who play have built at least two list from Turning Tide, so I figured on the 2. SS. I am basically taking the models from my 5. SS and using some other formations to play either or army.

So saying that, I am not really concerned with playing against any Soviet lists. I am however noticing some attention being made in the American Armd Coy lists. Lots of cheap Shermans and those nasty Sherman 76mm Pls. I was not 100% on the 3 x Wespes in the 2. SS lists, and you have valid points. I wanted to keep everything mobile, so if need be I can delpoy by SP Arty forward incase of a breakthrough. It woul dbe nice to get another pl in there, as I am only sitting pretty at five pls.

The 88s I have and plan to use frequently. Two of my buddies employ IL-2s, and i find they are the best thing for knocking them out of the air.

The 5. SS list is my fave. The 3rd CDN is starting to come together after its third (Or fourth.) change up. My second 2. SS lists is something that is going to evolve numerous times as well. I have had some thoughts with adding in Panzer IV Hs entirley. A kompaine Cmdr and 2i/c, as well as a platton of three Panzer IV Hs. I think this would open up the points for two additional platoons.
