And yes... I am beginning to regret painting an entire SoB army using NMM.

I like the feminent skin tons you managed to capture, too many people paint SoB models like grizzled wind burned men...

Didn't even realise they were NMM so you must have done a good job Are you going for a chrone earth and sky effect on the guns/sword?

These are hot. Did you use a gloss varnish, or is it the brand of paints you use? What brand did you use?

Yes, I was trying for a chrome effect but I think that may have been a bridge too far: It's a really tricky thing to get right.

Thanks! No, I hate the effect of gloss varnish on a mini despite it's protective qualities. I use Citadel washes and Vallejo GC paints

This is really nice. It's great to see a SOB color scheme that's not black white or red but still looks good! Great job!

Ha! Thanks Everyone I play against either loves or hates the hair! Personally I think it is a nice counterpoint to the darker tones on the rest of the mini but, as a good friend puts it "you can't really do anything subtle, can you?". I think he may be right....

Thank you both I will post some more pics soon... just started putting together a light-box which should let me put up some higher quality pictures

Regrettably, I am both a slow and occasional painter. I don't get much free time during the week and the wife tends to force me to play GuildWars with her when I am not in work. There are pictures of what i currently have painted in my gallery, but they are both poor quality and quite old now :S I am currently working on an Exorcist, which is the single most infuriating kit I have ever had to assemble in my life, and will assuredly post some WiP pics when i get the chance

The colour scheme was a total accident. I started off just painting in my local GW and they were the only colours that weren't either dry or being abused by all the kids
