on the forum. Obviously

You're asking about Horus, right? The guy who was killed by the emperor, and had his mind burned to a crisp?
Cause that's what happened to him.

No I'm talking about Little Horus, aka Horus Aximand.

We haven't heard anything about him since he had his face redone

The HH novels have still got to explain what happened to him. My guess is he is the one who turns off the shield on Horus' battle barge allowing the emperor to teleport on. As he seemed to show guilt when he and Abaddon f'd up Tarik and Loken.

He seems to be a bit of a changed man though after what happens in Little Horus

I felt that he might have been one of the ones that would join Garro, how wrong was I!

But even then...

Garro spoiler
Spoiler:
I don't think Loken, being one of Garro's brigade would forgive him for beheading torgaddon.

This was at the time that
Spoiler:
Loken wasn't one of the band. In a way Loken might have worked along side him, he did seem to be a bit of a loose strand after he killed Tarik

Spoiler:
That would really please me; I always liked his character and was upset with the path he went down. I truly believe that Loken will get his revenge on Little Horus somehow, the whole 'mysterious figure' he was seeing that kept him panicked and afraid which eventually turned out to be a hallucination of Loken, he eventually took no notice and didn't worry about it because Loken is dead and the dead can't harm him...

Yea I hope this is the case too, the whole Garro/birth of the GKs and Inquisition plot-line is the main reason I read the HH series. I just hope Tarvitz plot armour was also thick enough to allow him to join Garros crew (we know 5/8 marines).

And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.

I would've liked that, but didn't Loken kill all the other survivors?

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

The last thing we heard about Horus Aximand was after he had his face grafted back on.

I am curious about Saul Tarvitz but I am pretty sure he is killed at the end of Fulgrim but I will re-read it soon.

Do you think that the books are setting him up for a redemption story? He seems the only likely character to do so.

If it's a redemption story, then with his decision at the end of Little Horus, it's only going to be of one kind...

This is the only way I see it, if he does go on to have a redemption plot then he will have to die. We just have to wait for the HH books to reach Terra

Little Horus is killed by the emperor, which drives Big Horus insane and he kills the Emperor in rage. Big Horus realizes what he has done and assumes the identity of the Emperor and now sits on the golden throne to protect mankind from the damage he has done.

Hence: Death to the False Emperor. The traitor marines are angry that Horus betrayed them.

I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.
