Anybody remember this cute 'lil fella, or where he comes from? It would be easy to google him, but that would spoil the fun.

Doubtless only the oldest of the adepts of Chaos will remember his name, so we will trust to the honor of the membership not to just look him up (though how honorable the adepts of chaos are is anybody's guess...). This is mostly about seeing how many people here know the game from its earliets roots.

You asked the same question on warseer.

Looks like everyone in that thread is labeled as "banned".

Well, it is a fun little piece of 40K trivia, though since it was posted on warseer, I guess it isn't allowed here.

Hmm...

He was an example "DIY Daemon" from the old hardback The Lost and the Damned Chaos sourcebook.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Not quite. He was an example of a "DIY minor Chaos god". There were separate creations for his Greater Daemon, Minor Daemon, and Daemonic Beast. Creating the daemons involved rolling on a big random list of characteristics. The artwork for Kweethul's daemons was pretty good in melding the rolls together. The daemonic beast was four legged, with flaming feet, and the head of a fly and I think the ears of a rabbit (but drawn as ragged ears that would not make one think of fluffy bunny ears). The greater daemon was two headed.

I don't get the banned comments? How did people get banned?

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Most likly its due to the fact that people dont like Warseer, or that it somehow breaks the site rules for posting out of production moddels. But honnestly I dont know

They have all kinds of made-up rules for banning people.
I've been given official warnings for "excessive use of sarcasm" and was told it was "against board rules" (it isn't).

It's not called whineseer for no reason.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Bingo! Ah, Realms of Chaos. The sourcebook of random gods.

Anybody remember Malal?

Not resulting from that. In any case, I prefer to leave another forum's troubles to that forum. Not good manners to carry a grudge and drag it with you from place to place.

Even a cursory glance would have shown you that 20% of this forum is dedicated to that waste of space.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Sorry, I didn't glance either cursorily or blessorily. ;-)
