I see the Graviton Beamer is a One Shot pistol. what are the implications of it being a pistol? Can it be used in CC ? If so it only grants one attack?

I also see that her power weapon can do more harm than good 1 time out of every 6 . Can you elect not to use it? Can you elect to use it but not the two extra attacks? Can you elect not to equip it?

Pistols can be wielded alongside some CCW's to gain a bonus attack in CC.

Page 35, from memory. In addition - you have a special and a close combat weapon, meaning you use the rules on p42 which show you what you will be fighting with.
