razorback with las/plas
4 Thunderwolves
1 with storm shield, one with bolter, one with bp/ccw, one with bp/ccw and a melta bomb
3x6 Long Fangs
2 lascannons, 3 missiles
razorback with las/plas
1994 total
I know a few options are not thought to be the best or most optimum. I take the lascannons because armor 12 is very prevalent in my area. I don't feel that splitting two missile shots at armor 12 has ever done anything for me but having two lascannons to split off has worked well for me (in my head at least). Thunderwolves could probably use another storm shield but I'm not sure what I would lose. Hopefully advancing them behind the rhinos for cover will help me out. I plan to use this list in an upcoming tournament in mid March. The tournament is 1850 so I lose one grey hunter squad in a las/plas razorback to make 1850. What do you guys think?

Recently I took lascannons with my long fangs and i have to admit, i hated it... Heres why: -With 2 lascannons yes you do get 2 str 9 shots but for 50 pts (total) while 2 missiles at str 8 is 20 pts total, saving you 30 pts, with those 30 pts (from 1 squad) you can take meltaguns in the other 2 razorback squads, if you drop the remaining 4 lascanons you save 6 points, giving 2 wolfguard the ability to take power fists (power fist is str 8). With this you have a better OVERALL chance to pen armor throughout the game (both in shooting and close combat) -Missile Launchers also gives you variety (especially when your playing tournament games), vs hordes you can lay down 5 str 4 small blast templates from EACH squad, and against heavy mech you can still lay down 5 str 8 shots, while with a lascannon you only get 2 str 4 small blasts and 2 str 9. and against mech you get 2 str 8 and 2 str 9. You wont see much of a difference against mech but you will see it against horde armies. I might have repeated myself alot but this is how i see it, if you have any questions feel free to PM me

The list is okay. It has a few problems in my eyes:
1) The Grey Hunters in Rhinos are a bit lightly armed for combat. Where's their Wolf Standard? Their MotW and/or Power Weapon? Where are the Power Weapons or Power Fists for the Wolf Guard? Why are they only 6 strong instead of 7 or 8 strong?
2) Why so many Thunderwolves? At 1850, 3 models on Thunderwolves is adequate. You have 5 in one unit. That's a lot of killing power, but its concentrated. You are going to overkill a lot, which is bad as it means you spent too many points there. Worse, the unit is so large it will be hard to hide behind your vehicles.
3) Why Las/Plas on the Long Fang's Razorbacks? You aren't Blood Angels, so you only get to fire one of their guns. While I love Plasma, the reason to take Razorbacks for Long Fangs is to get more Lascannons on the table. There isn't really a reason to not take the TLLC. It gives you accurate Lascannon fire (which you need) and since the Razorback will likely be further back (especially in Dawn of War) you'll rarely be out of range.
4) Why the Lascannons on the Long Fangs? You say its for AV12, but thats bull. S8 can handle AV12 adequately. I play my (non-Logan) foot wolves against mechdar frequently. AV12 abounds. Using primarily Plasma (I have 2 Lascannons and 4 Missile Launchers in my normal list for anti-tank on my Long Fangs at 1750) I can handle their vehicles just fine. With 15 Missile Launchers and 3 TLLC, you should be spanking their tanks. To say nothing of what the Grey Hunters could do.
5) Why would you take Dozer Blades over Melta Bombs?
If it were me, I'd downgrade the Lascannons to Missile Launchers, make the Las/Plas for the Long Fangs TLLC, drop the Meltabomb carrying Thunderwolf, bump up the 3 Grey Hunter packs to 8 man with Wolf Standard and Mark of the Wulfen, and drop the Dozer Blades. Should put you at 1999/2000 points. Your Rhino based troops will actually have a chance against other Marine armies in close combat and you have more than enough ranged firepower.
You could downgrade the Las/Plas to Heavy Bolters. Gives you 70 points to play with and drop the Fenrisian Wolves. That allows you to take Power Weapons and Meltabombs on the 3 Wolf Guard as well as throw another Power Weapon in each Rhino based squad. Still 1999 points. This way though when the BA or GK player gets you in combat you have a good chance of walking away between the 7 Power Weapon and 3-8 Rending in the Rhino based squads.

I have to agree with most of the feedback on the list you have here.
Drop your TWC down to 3 guys and tool them up a little, stick in a hammer or powerfist and another storm sheild. It maxes out your wound allocation and give you another invulnerable save when you get sprayed with missile spam. Armour 3 is great but it is not the be all and end all. I'd also try to stick runic armour on the WGBL for extra survival.
I agree with Cowmonaut on the AV12 thing, AV14 and 13 are hard asks for missiles(AV14 is a near impossibility) but 12 is not that big of a problem. How many AV12+ vehicles would you see on the table in one game tbh? 2-3 max, the razorback lazcannons can deal with that.
I'd focus on making the troops harder, lots of small troops mounted work well in BA cos you can get fast vehicles and that give you flexibilty in how you play and increases your rate of fire. Wolves don't do mounted units in the same way, sure you can razorspam but you can't do it like them. Be space wolves, an 8 man squad with a cc load out and a WG can do a lot more damage then a 5 man squad with a razorback.
