Down in Kalamazoo there is a great shop called The Odyssey. Its right on western's campus and we have 40k and fantasy players up every weekend. The address is:

1504 West Michigan Avenue Kalamazoo, MI 49006

Stop by anytime.

In Grand Rapids there is the Battle Barn. We have weekly gaming nights on Friday nights and usually get around 12-15 players. Mostly 40k, but we have seen a recent increase in Warmachine/hordes lately and the occasional game of Fantasy does crop up now and again.

In addition there is Alpha Omega Coffee and Games in Cedar Springs (about a 1/2 hour drive from GR) that has gaming on Saturday morning/afternoons. They are just getting into miniature wargaming up there so it's still a pretty small crowd, but the owner is pretty enthusiastic about supporting a good community. He also offers a competitive discount. (and excellent coffee!)

Occasionally the Barn hosts tournaments as well. Our most recent one was this past weekend and prize support was sponsored by Alpha Omega. Hopefully this is a union that will become a regular thing.

If interested you can find out about the barn here http://www.battlebarn.com/

Keep an eye on Grandiosity in Norton Shores (Facebook) as they have a large gaming area and put on numerous tournaments and games.

There are serveal 40k gamers in the GR area, but I have yet to get any of them together for a game outside of BB.
