I'd like some C&C on some of my Death Guard conversions. I have a lot more guys to make and I was hoping to learn sum new techniques/conversions/helpful tips/stuff for the next batch. So, here's a picture. It's best to click on it and zoom in to see all the details and stuf. So yeah.

They look really nice, its a great idea to use some possessed bits too. I have converted about 10 one-poser space marines (aobr) to very nurglish marines The way i made them more chaotic was to change their heads with WoC heads from FB, and i actually painted them with liquid green stuff, it looks awesome!

Nice stuff. Actually in the process of doing similar conversions myself. My only critique is that Death Guard have a very distinct armor type and are easily identified by their helmets and belly plates, which yours do not.

I like what you've got so far. Since you are doing many more, make sure to experiment. One thing you could try that i've done to great effect: Geen stuff up some intestines/other guts (like you've got here) when its dry enough not to stick, flatten out another piece of GS very thin and stretch it over the guts. You want it just about to tear, the thinner the better because you'll get natural wrinkles that look like veins and stuff. You can cut and tug tear pieces of the skin layer exposing the guts underneath. If you try it, let me know how it goes, i've had good results. Happy converting!

I am now accepting commissions for any hobby project! I've been in the hobby since '92. Specializing in traditional brush methods, creating a gritty dark aesthetic. From single character models to entire armies. From individual terrain pieces to entire table tops. From tabletop level to masterclass level painting. From purchasing and assembly to leveling up your assembled armies paint job. If it has to do with the hobby I can do it! Hit me up and let's chat about your project!

Outside the DarkTower, amongst the roses.

Some PVA glue with small amounts of super glue makes some nasty plague effects. Try some on a spare base. Just pour some pva let it sit for 2 minutes the put small drops of super glue, let dry then some washes can look really gross if done right.

When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss
