I was finally able to pry my wife's fancy new camera away from her and I took the opportunity to get some shots of my wolves to put up for your praise and/or criticism.

I really like the color that you employed! Looks really nice! Especially the termi with the braids and beard.

I usually use the termi with the braids and beard as my wolf lord. I love that forge world upgrade pack for space wolf terminators. It has two of the best space wolf heads I have ever seen sculpted.
edit-I just realized two of them have braids and beards. The top one is the one from forge word, bottom one is just made from pieces from the wolf guard box.

personally i think it could use a few washes in their, it all seems to be a bit one color painted on, otherwise its all nicely kept in the lines and a wonderful idea.

B-b-b-ballin! Those are awesome, I'd just probably wash or dry brush some different colors on the cloaks, they seem tacked on compared to the excellence that is the rest of the models

Funnily enough the cloak IS actually blue tacked on at the moment. Thanks for the feedback, I'll try and give the cloak a wash or two and see how it looks.

Really like 'em. My step son is doing Space Wolves and I'm showing him your post. The grey is very effective, very natural looking and not OTT. Nice job!

Thanks! I've never really been a fan of the blue grey look for space wolves. I tend to ignore some of the silly background and focus on the aspects of warrior honor, ferocity, and their feral nature, which to me fits better with a darker, more serious color scheme. I started this army before the foundation paints came out, otherwise I might have even gone a shade darker and gone with the foundation grey.

The armor could use some kind of highlighting as could the guy with the Claws. Really just highlighting in general. Solid work though. Good job.

I did actually do hard edge highlights on all the armor with ghost grey, you can see it best on the power fist of the guy in the last picture. I think my less than perfect lighting makes it difficult to see. I went with light grey as I thought white looked to artifical and somewhat garish. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks! The haft is from a terminator wolf guard thunder hammer and the topper is one of the various bits of bling from the space wolves infantry sprues. I think it is supposed to be a banner topper or something like that.

They look good. A little highlighting to really make them stand out would help the over all look. I love the teal you added. Gives them a little something extra to break up all the grey. And i love the fact you didn't use space wolves grey. They look good. A little more work on the bases would make them look even better. Looking forward to seeing them after all the feedback.
