I'm currently building a GW stompa kit, it is huge. And I'm wondering if anyone mounts the GW kit on a base? You don't need to, it balances fine (unlike some FW titans which you don't want to take the risk with) and falling over makes it more orky.

The main reason I'm asking is for CC, do people just pile in to where they're touching stompa? Would a base allow more people to attack the stompa in CC? I suppose its Apocalypse rules, so the base doesn't have to be a certain size or shape, just whats necessary to skirt around the model.

So Dakka-ites, has it been done?
