After months of waiting i finally got my broadside suits in, i unpacked it and my face went all shades of red.
One of the railguns made of metal was bent, not only bent but bent thus noticably that my entire model looks slowed, it is however unpainted and unconstructed.
The barrel is about 10 degrees lower than the rear.
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix it?

Bend it back with your hand. That's literally all you can do. If it's really bad, call GW for a replacement.

Ya. If you had called GW as soon as you opened the box they would have sent you a new one. Not sure if they will now that it's put together, but it doesn't hurt to give them a call. They are really good about that kind of stuff.

Chicago. Also space. Depending on my mood.

Wait, they just give you a new one? Do you have to send in the old one?

If not, no wonder prices are so high. So many people getting free replacements for their "wrecked" models.

I respect the fact that you might think as such but you should be grateful that they indeed show such a level of customer service, also i have not yet used that weird disgrace for a railgun.

I believe so. Atleast I got keep my zagstrukk after getting an replacement but I bought it from store and not online.

And I don't think there are many people getting free models as not many people whine about their models.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

The railgun is metal, right? I'd suggest just bending it into the shape you want. That's one of the reasons I'm such a metal apologist: it requires almost no effort to fix stuff like that.

Just rub the barrel between your thumb & forefinger for a few minutes, and then slowly shift the shape to your liking. Kinda like a spoon-bending party from the '70s.

Have you not seen the finecast threads

But on topic, if you can bend it back then it's easily fixed. If not then send an e-mail to GW and they'll send you out a replacement.

How bent is it? like a slight warp or a full on 90 degree angle?

Bend it back with your hands. That's the beauty of metal models.

If it's too hard to bend with your hands, try using rubber-tipped pliers.

I say call for a boycott of GW's metal lines until they can make these out of plastic. Then make up a witty pun on pewter or white metal and develop it into a Dakka meme.

Until then, gently straighten it out with your thumbs.

metal? (not sure if word would be against dakka rules, replace the 'w' in white with an 's')
