Of all the armies to update, why us? And more importantly, is this going to be like the new Necron army update? It seems like ever since the GK, things have gotten out of hand with the Workshop. The new Wolves and Nids look awful, i'm scared to asked what got changed, and the new Crons are worthless. Now a days, it's all about the crazy, unnecessary fluff, and removing the rules that made these armies good. No more phaseout might be good for the Necron players, and bad for there opponents, (Which they took care of by removing i'll be back, which i think killed the whole army) but there's no hiding the fact that the guys who are making the new units, don't know what they are doing. This could be the end of the 40k road for the Tau players...

Also, the rumors that Tau would be getting a new Codex soon were retracted by the initial source as being pure fabrication.

Yep, Newcrons sure are useless, what with their reduced costs, scarabs that shred vehicles, reanimation protocols that can't be prevented other than wiping the unit, sword/shield lychguard that never seem to die...

1.) Tau will get a new Codex within a year. Only some details seems to have been made up.
2.) GW makes a new release when they feel like it, not when some fans think they should. And to be fair, the tau Codex now is quite old and needs an update.
3.) The statements about Necrons are nonsense, same with tyranid models.

Yeah, Tyranid players are terribly miffed at having reliable ranged anti tank and a real workhorse unit like the Tervigon.

Even if this is a troll there is a bit of a point to this.
Its great when your dex is about to get a new book new models new rules and all that..but your book is also on the chopping block..will I be getting some new shiny toys? You bet your ass you are but at the same time..you have to worry about what they are taking away from you. Is my book going to be the new "power gamer" book? Which no one really wants.. Change in the 40k world can be a bit unsettling.
