South Of The South Poll

Hey everyone

One question, i was playing a game against a grey knight player in my local gameworkshop, and his troop where just a normal grey knight strike squad and for his other troop he had a 5 man paladin squad that he had used the grand master's special rule to make units troops. Is this legal in a normal game.

- ironhandstraken

edit - He did not have draigo in his army

This is not legal

1. Grand Strategy makes units SCORE as Troops, it does not make them troops

2. Grand Strategy is not decided until the dice is rolled, which is after he makes the list,

Terminators are troops, but Paladins are Elite unless Draigo is there, therefore the list is illegal

As above

GS makes you score, it does not turn you into Troops for the purposes of the FOC
