I saw that. I guess it will be a while before the kits I'm interested in appear - the Stuart, US half-track and Tiger. Strange that the Universal Carrier is coming out in 1:72 scale first, as this seems to be the opposite of their normal approach.
The good news is that my PSC Panthers arrived today

Excellent news on your Panthers TAILGUNNER, mine are finished, apart from DECALS and a DULLCOTE. Best tanks I have bought in a long time, joy to build, joy to paint and kick ass on the battlefield to boot.

If they make m7 priests I will be a happy camper. I can't really look forward to dropping just about 80 dollars on a single battlefront unit of them. I may also have to go back later on and replace my half tracks with PSC ones. It depends on how they look I guess

I spoke to Will on E-mail about 2 weeks ago and he confirm he has the 15mm Motorised Artillery on the go, it's now a case of getting them manufactured and to be honest I think he's working flat out to get the Box sets produced and out. His release schedule is pretty crowded, equally he is working at the 15mm scale and 1/72 scale simultaneously which means our FOW releases will be 50- 60% of his output so we just need to hang on. I can see his little company Expanding rapidly in the next 18 months.

Hey mwnciboo, what colour did you use to paint your panther, they look pretty nice and the best thing is that no camouflage needed.

It's a Crap photograph, I'll do a better one and send it to you.
However, I use Vallejo Panzer Series 70882 Middlestone. It is recommended by a lot of FOW painters and it's very good.
I usually give it two coats, then detail the model. Then I wash with Ogryn Flesh, once dry I then a thin light wash of Thraka Green.
Then I do a bit more detailing, and then I drybrush the model with Vallejo Iraqi Sand 70819.
The it's time to Varnish, Decals, weather it and then finally dullcote it. It's alot of effort but it's worth it.

Agreed. I wasn't complaining about the wait for the models I'm interested in - PSC releases stuff relatively fast, and there's no doubt that they are focusing on important vehicles. While issues like the absence of Zimmerit will put some people off, I think more and more FoW players and modellers will gravitate towards PSC as their range expands. And I think even die-hard resin/metal fans will find it hard to resist artillery and half-tracks.
As they expand, they may need to look at having the moulding done outside the UK. Apparently there is a real bottleneck there, which is why GW invested in their own plastic moulding facilities.

Or go into moulding for themselves?

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all" Mario Savio |

Where are the new GW moulding facilities located? In PRC? I would not be surprised, given the issues of their failcast range...
Btw, it would be interesting to know, whether the new 15mm German Heavy wepon kit will allow placing mortars within PSC halftracks thus giving us cheap 251/2's...

Yeah on the subject of the mouldings, I could see this being a Bottleneck for PSC if another contractor makes them. These facilities are expensive and must be run 24/7 to make a profit, so all the work will be scheduled with various companies in a cycle. They simply aren't waiting round twiddling their thumbs waiting for a Green Light. I think you maybe right that opening their own facility maybe a possibility but then the Price may have to go up and take away the whole point of the cheap sprues. We shall see eh?
@CainTheHunter You could make your own with PSC 251's and FiB mortars...

No, they have their own moulding equipment in the UK, as far as I know. Apparently FW does it's resin casting in China now.
Let's keep Finecast out of FoW discussions. I only mentioned GW because it seems likely PSC will have to go down the same path to expand - and one of the issues that competitors like PP face is trying to source plastic moulding. mwnciboo is right about what it may mean in terms of price if PSC do this, but it must already cost them a chunk of money to have their models moulded for them. If they can crack that problem, they could be very successful.
