Hi,
anyone has some picture of the wolf standard bearer sprue?
I need a couple of them and I want to convert it, because the power weapon is useless.

If you're just looking for wolf standard bearers for GK, I've found that the back banner works well. You mount it to the top of a hand and then place an appropriate place of plastic rod extending down from the bottom of the hand.

And it is not on that link.

I assume since it is fine cast that the body and the arm with the offending power weapon is one part and the other arm and banner are a second.
That would be my guess. I agree that the weapon looks shockingly bad but I also think the face is fairly poor too. Great armor though.

Personally I think the whole standard bearer thing seems to un-wolf like, the ultramarines and BA do it cos they have codex formations (bar the death company) and they use a very roman method to organise their companies and men. It shouldn't look like a legion's aquilla IMHO and I always wonder what happens to a backpack banner when you have to fight in tunnels or on ships.
I am not sure yet how to model mine but I am tempted by a cloak of some sort.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

This pack contains one Grey Hunter with Wolf Standard - a finely detailed resin cast kit that comes in three components, and is supplied with a 25mm round base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Super Glue and Citadel Paints.

@liturgies: looks like you are probably right.

As well, I just use back banners on the actual backpack for my models as the standard bearer models have always been fairly rare.

Depends on whether you want to spend 24.75 for a standard for each squad.

The best and cheapest solution is the backpack banner, but I would like to use a bigger banner for the character attached unit.

anyway the forum on the second post has no informations

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440271a&prodId=prod1050238 how about the banner from the SM Command Squad sprue? It's also blank so you can do some of your own freehand. Kit also comes with interesting bits you can trade or use (like kneeling SM legs, special weapons, apothecary backpack and arms, fancy shoulder pads, etc.)
