A while back I decided I did not like the way my Chaos Marines looked so I started selling them off. When it came time for a new paint scheme to replace the models I got rid of I decided on a pre-heresy Deathguard scheme.

I picked up the method I used to paint the white on these guys over at From the Warp.

I know that technically these guys aren't pre-heresy because of the Mk of armour I used, but I was wanting to get the paint scheme down before shelling out some cash for some Forge World models. Let me know what you think about them, I have really thick skin so don't be shy.

That scheme looks perfect to me! I would love to see some FW pre heresy marines painted in that scheme.

Great paint job. The white looks like its sprayed, Did you brush it or spray it?

I sprayed the white on.

I primed the model white and then used an airbrush to put on a few coats of white with just a hint of brown in it.

Looks great what kind of white did you use ?
