Hello there everybody. I'm new to this website and I'm working on becoming a more skilled model painter. So far I think I have everything down except blending colors so they transition looks a lot cleaner. And I love to see all the other models on this site because their all pretty amazing. And if any one is in Clovis, NM. That Plays Warhammer 40k We should meet up and have a match or two. But if anyone can show me how do a clean blend of colors that would be amazing.

Heh. I've been playing this game for almost three years and I have approximately one painted model under my belt. I'm so much more about the playing than the painting. But, recently, I've started to force myself to do it. Kind of fun once you learn the basics and stop braining yourself against the wall.

It's taken me about a year to paint my army. And i didn't get good at it until half way in then i had to repaint. My only problem is there is such a small warhammer group in my area

I started years ago and inherited both my brother's armies; tips would be painting cheap troops in basic colours to get that at a high standard. Then when you think you're ready to move up it would be wise to practice fine-detailing on leftover troops in case you mess up. Then you can work to make each troop and character an individual, that's what I've been trying to do, which is where conversions really shine.

Im finished collecting my Korne army. I think next will be a blood angles army. But going into battle with a pretty army looks amazing even if you lose.
