I've seen and heard a lot about all of this and I don't want to be a "hipster" but I do believe since we're (USA) the most powerful country on Earth we should probably help out. How can I go there to literally help?

So it's a typical African theft idea. I mean I know the International community is trying to bring him in but...I didn't want to throw money at the problem I wanted to physically go in country to help out if that was possible. I see why people would think it is a scam Africa is shady especially if that charity doesn't allow the BBB to look at their records.

Most of the people talking about Kony are more concerned with appearing to care than actually accomplishing anything. Furthermore, Invisible Children is pretty shady as you said.
