I am looking for a big plastic axe to represent a Dreadaxe or Great Axe - any suggestions?  Everything I have seen is metal, which won't work for balance reasons....

Thanks,

Mez

I used the extra blades from Dark Eldar Raider kits and put them on poles.  Turns out pretty well (can't say the same for my painting, though!).

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

WH40K ork boyz choppas could work or you could take the axes from the WH fantasy chaos warriors kit. They're both pretty big if they don't seem big enough... chop the blade off one and attach it to another axe to make a double headed axe.

Checked the Ogre sprues? There are some seriously large choppy things there...
