Why does ol' ghazhgul have both a powerklaw and stikkbombs? Is this a mistake in the writting of the codex or does this confer some advantage somewhere that I'm not seeing?

For that sweet 4 + d6 against vehicles.

It's an older codex, from a time when you could choose to not use your special CCW and charging into terrain worked differently.

Now the only use for the grenades on Ghaz and nobz is to not kill walkers on your own turn, staying in CC so the enemy can't shoot you.

Meaning, choosing to use the stikkbombs instead of the PK?

No, its a 4th edition book. Not super old though.

You can use stikkbombs against a vehicle rather than the PK, and may do this if you dont want to rip apart a walker on your turn

I take it that the mega nobs is the same thing?
