Hi Folks,
I've been batting the idea of a goblin army around for a while and really wanted to do something a little crazy, aside from playing a goblin army...
Anyhow, I came up with a bit of fluff for the background which entails a night goblin tribe mixing with a forest goblin tribe after they find out they can coexist in a mutually beneficial relationship in which the night goblins show the forest goblins the way to 'da good shrooms' and the forest goblins use their spiders to pick'em easier.

I went with crazy, bright colors against black, kind of like what you might see on an old blacklight poster from the 70's.

For the record, I don't partake in psychotropic mushrooms or anything of the sort, but I do find the idea of a mob of goblins wigging out, attacking things, and then having no idea how they got there rather amusing.

Here's a few shots of the handful of test models I painted up to get a feel for how the colors would work together. (I also intend to add a small group of "raver" trolls for low point games. They're a few trolls who heard the goblins banging on their gongs and slinked up out of the river to see what was going on. They immediately became entranced by the music and follow the goblins around bopping their heads. When they roll stupid, it's cause they're too busy groovin' )

This is gonna be good. I can't wait to see what you have in store.

If I had a dollar for every dollar I spent I'd have all my money back.
