From what I am able to tell, from these pics, if this is your FIRST Mini of any kind, WOW! Well done. You definately have picked a hobby you are going to impress yourself with.
Having said that, and keep in mind I am by NO means a great painter ( Though I do get by ), you are falling for the same sin I often do , which is drowning the mini in Flesh wash. Be careful there. Less is actually more, espeacially with the Pale Grotesques.
May I ask, what made you want to tackle this pricey Fella as your first Mini?

A lot of surface area compared to wracks or a haemy. And it wad as ridiculous as the talisman.... as I had said earlier this is my first so when doing the wash I was clueless that it would dry on pretty dark do I applied what I thought was good for the flesh (there is a red and purple wash for bruising) and I went to be's the next day I woke up and started kicking myself in the ass for how dark it got. Oh well live and learn.

I actually like the darker skin. It looks raw and bruised, wich I think looks very fitting on these guys.....

Keep up the good painting!
