Im very new to the game (3 games under my belt!) and I am trying to grasp all of the rules and concepts. I have read on a few forums that orks with rokkit launchas can only fire once per game. I have not read anywhere in their codex that this is the case. The only thing i have found is that a combi weapon with a rokkit launcha has the one shot rule, but nothing on the weapon itself. Can someone confirm this for me?

Thanks!

No, Orks rokkit launchers are an assault 1 weapon. Meaning they can fire one shot every shooting phase, and you can assault if in range in the following assault phase.

I think they can get COmbi-rokkits, which like all combi syle weapons let you fire a one shot weapon, e.g. combi melta fires asa bolter and then one shot as a melta.

pg 89 of the ork codex tells you the rokkit part of a combi weapon can only be fired once per game.

Only Kombi-rokkits are one shot. Regular rokkit launchas have unlimited ammo.

As others have said, combi rokkit which is available on nobs, mega nobs, and Warboss is a one shot rokkit. You use it for diversification in your nobs , you are usually better off w a combi flamer(a single use scorcha) than a combi rokkit as it auto hits and ignores cover -which is a lot better than a bs 2 rokkit.
