This is my first try at writing a 40K story, and there will be a lot of editing. Please feel free to let me know if something is rubbish or could be improved

Fallen Angels

Spoiler:
Part 1.

The silver paintjob of his Arstartes MK7 motorbike shone with the bright sunlight, as it raced along the rocky canyon; The only mark on it was his name, engraved on the front, in gold lettering: Captain Lucifer Drakken. Like most marines of his chapter, he wore silver power armour, with gold trim. And like all of 5th company, his shoulder plates were trimmed with dark red. Unlike most, however, his armour was built entirely from scavenged parts of power armour, from at least two dozen fallen battle brothers. This meant he had an MK8 plasma generator power pack on his back, an MK6 "corvus" pattern beak helmet, mismatched leg designs from his left to his right, and many other variations on any version of 'standard' wargear. On his belt was his previous captain's boltgun, silver with bronze trim, and a square, brick-like magazine. There was also a combat knife, his new powersword, an auspex and a set of grenades.

He sped past sand-coloured walls of rock, enjoying his new-found sense of freedom - until recently, his chapter was a spacebound one, and there had never been much chance for practice with his bike, despite being part of a mounted assault force. The canyon was coming to an end, in a few second's time, he would be out on open planes again. One of his favourite things about this world, was that he could ride almost anywhere, and often used this time to think. And since claiming this world, there was much to think about, first of which was the great losses the chapter had sustained in the battle, something which the Chapter Master, Ubrik Ragan, refused to let anyone forget. The second, (and in his opinion should be first), was the remaining enemy forces on the world.
