My demon prince was in combat with two necron dudes who both had mindshackle scarabs.

The rule for MSS didn't really cover this situation at all. Does he have to make one leadership test or two? Does he hit himself twice if he fails both? Well, 2d3 times actually...

You make multiple tests, but only generate 1d3 hits.

You make X tests, where X is the number of times MSS hit you.

If you fail at least one test, you hit youself D3 times - you cannot "instead of attacking normally" twice or more, because you only attack normally once.

This seems like the best place to ask this question. Mind shackle scarabs, vs a daemon weapon. before i attack i have to roll to see if the daemon weapon tries to eat me. Does this take place before or after the shackles roll, Or do i still have to roll both? It seems like if i roll a 1 for the weapon i don't attack and the shackles wouldn't be able to be used. Or can they still make me hit my self after i hit my self? Doesn't seem right. The daemon inside the weapon doesn't like me so it hits me, but likes the shackles so it hits me again.

You do not take a Daemon test if MSS is successful. You would roll to see if MSS works then the Leadership test then how many hits.
You roll for daemon weapons "whenever the model is about to attack" by MSS hits "instead of attacking normally" so no rebel weapon.

If MSS is unsuccessful and your fella with the daemon weapon is not controlled, then you would roll to see if the weapon rebels as it is now time for blows to be struck and he can participate in the combat.
