Can anyone tell me more about these guys?

They are roles within a Chapter, but other than their titles (and the implication of these titles), is there any more information on the various 'Masters'?
Do we just assume the Master of the Recruits is Captain of the 10th Company for example, or is there actual 'canon' info on these roles?

Not sure if there is any actual canon but:
AFAIK each Captain has a title 'Master of the Fleet' etc.
These titles are inherited from the previous captain (I think) together they make up the chapter council and will advise the Chapter Master on various issues...

That said i could be totally wrong...
I also vaguely remember hat some Masters have authority over others depending on the situation...

"We" do not assume, we look up codex space marines page 17, where the Captain of the 10th is the 'master of recruits' for example.

Most likely the titles are given as a mark of their role in the chapters organization, like commanding the fleet, running the ressource management, protecting the home system, responsible for recon, etc etc. I don't believe GW put much effort in it.
Just name = guess what he does....
Forgot: page 16 says its described in the code astartes. So we need only one thing, a copy of the codex. Too bad there is none.available to us....

Apart from master of recruits most of the other titles are mostly just ceremonial titles with most of the actual day to day organisation done by admin serfs.

Pretty sure it's only when the chapter comes together as one Battle force, the models where released with the first Apocalypse expansion and AFAIK they got a datasheet. And honestly it looks like a Ultramarine's doctrine, most first founding chapters would have their own unique titles and formations but still similar due to the Codex-Astrates

As Ultramarines follow the codex astrates very closely, their organisation can be seen as the norm (one of the few things the Ultramarines do that can be classed as average) for most chapters, the names may change from chapter to chapter but the roles will be the same and the level of actual involvement for those roles will probably be the same.

Do we know what these roles entail though?

Most are rather self explanatory:

Master of the watch- oversees the defence of the fotress monestery
Master of the Arsenal - oversees the armories and weapon stores
Master of the fleet - oversees the chapter's fleet
Master of marches - oversees the marines drills
Master of the rites - oversees the chapter's rituals and ceremonies
Master of recruits- oversees the traing of recruits.

Most of the actual work would be done by the non-combatant staff with the masters checking over the books every so often.
