I personally think the Shadowlooms are a superior option to the Shield Vanes. With their decent range it's not hard to position them to where they are likely to be getting cover saves, and it synrgizes with turbo boosting wonderfully. Also I'm not a huge fan of the nubscopes, I would personally recommend dropping them and one ABarge for a unit of Spyders to give your scarabs a bit more punch.

but there skimmers so isnt it hard to get a cover save with them? and if you turboboost then you arnt able to shoot so what the point in that?

Spyders ive always been weary off especially cause mine always die from me rolling bad from popping out babies ha. And there fairly slow and big targets are they not?
