I am painting up some grot tanks. I was going to use them as wartracks with rockets.

do you think this is an acceptable sub?

That being said, I'll allow it. As long as there is no confusion, that is.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

I'd be totally fine with it, as long as you told me they were wartrakks not Grot Tanks.

But then most of my wartrakks aren't GW standard wartrakks either

$25 dollars for a crappy wartrakk model. Why wouldn't you use them.

or 10 bucks for a same scale German half-track (same design) or nuffin for a kitbash from my bitz box...

Yeah, the Buggy and Wartrakks could really use a redo. If i'm paying too much money for a ripoff from WW2 Germany i want one that looks good

From experience and what I've heard, people are more likely to force you to play grot tanks than to disallow their use

They are just awesome models.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

As someone who owns them, I can state the exact same thing.
They aren't overboard, and I've shot myself in the foot with them already (those damned snake eyes!), but they are a great unit to have for their good contribution and excellent flavour!

Was absolutely no problem at all getting them greenlight for the tournaments
