Having a bit of a problem with my GK, because I don't want to be limited to any 1 base type I'm trying to involve the use of magnets, so I can gather over time a base for every occasion (seems sad I know but my entire 2k army consists of 13 infantry) So I was just looking for a way to do it... I attempted to drill into the feet of one of my models and insert magnets, seemed alright. But apparently I screwed up the polarity? got the magnet strength wrong and didn't had planned to use magnets under the base to keep it all cushy, but I think I probably should have used metal... Theres lots of topics and guides on how to magnetise parts of models together using magnet to magnet but I'm kind of looking for the easiest most effective way to magnetise a model to its base. I notice the magnet has to be stronger then those seen in arms and weapon magnets because its having to hold the entire model to the base.
