Anyway, skip the light armor on the magister- armor isn't worth it, especially starting out, and he won't be able to cast spells with it.

I'd remove 1 of the possessed, with the savings and your extra $, you should be able to take 2 mutants. Remember, heroes = income. The more heroes you have at the end of each battle, the more income you get. You'll still have a very small warband, but that's kinda just how possessed roll. If you can afford it, at least give your brethren a second dagger, if not a club. This isn't like fantasy or 40k. Your archers have a good chance of getting in hand to hand combat, and doubling your effectiveness is always worth it.

I'd also swap your magister's 2handed weapon for a sword or club, at least. Otherwise, you'll be going last, even if you charge. With 1 wound, you're taking a big risk going last.

i am aware that you roll for skills but these are just the ones i would like them to have.

and aren't mutants almost useless in fighting? they are just more expensive brethren right?

and as for the two handed weapon it was part of the idea that maybe he could get the one skill that lets you use two handed weapon at inititive.
armor probable needs to go though. i think i will try to squeeze in a club for the archers

Possessed kind of get the shaft when it comes to maximizing profit and having a good rout check breakpoint... Skaven are undoubtedly kings of this and can achieve both at the beginning of the campaign. Possessed are crazy awesome though and have tons of conversion potential.

and break point for the current list is two models i believe. with the possesed doing most of the killing it shouldnt be too hard to kill stuff. plus brethren backing them up with some ranged support.

or is there something i am missing?
