Just a few out of interest questions.

What is the longest thread Dakka has ever had, pages and reply wise.

What thread has had the most amount of views for it?

What gallery pic has the most views and most ratings for it?

Any way to view these or mods with the info?

Detailed counts are searchable by me, but only direct in the DB.

The top threads ever by views can be found on this secret page:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/hottestTopics/list.page

Longest thread is probably one of the DCM ones or one of the junk ones in the survivor games forum. Nothing too interesting.

As a DCM Ratius, you know the truth when it comes to pages and reply count. There is no way that any other thread has come close to 'that one' in DCM.

Heck I would guess mine is potentially second for post count, or will be in the long term, as why else would you ever get that high?

As for view count, N&R threads, especially those that last a while, like the mantic news thread, or when a big story breaks that goes on for a few weeks, like the 'heretics edition' 6th book rumours a while back. As you get dozens if not hundreds of folks checking the thread often for new news snippets.

edit - one million views on the conversion thread.. damn surely that needs some kind of fanfare.

Should have guessed P&M and blog threads would be up there as well. Interesting list.

The MLP:FiM thread is huuuge.

I looked around for a bit for most replied threads.

The most is the DCM one. (1109 pages)
2nd most is the Minecraft thread. (311 pages)
3rd most is Morathi's DCM one. (272 pages)
4th most is Gitsplitta's blog (272 pages, but only 4 or 5 posts behind)
5th most is the Beat This Unit thread. (263 pages)

Then, there's a whole ton right around the 200 mark. But, those are the only 5 that really surpassed that that I found.

Nah, only 122 pages. It needs to at least double in size before we can put it into the "longest Dakka thread" discussion.
