Hello All!

Here are pics of a recent commission work. It is modeled and painted as requested.

It is a Dark Angel Standard Bearer of the 6th Company carrying the Sacred "Standard of Devastation".

The customer sent this model to me already painted in the Successor Chapter "Angels of Redemption" colors but he wanted the model stripped, converted and repainted in Dark Angel colors with this Sacred standard.
This model was the older metal Space Marine Standard Bearer holding the banner pole with a power fist. The power fist arm was to be removed and replaced with the plastic banner bearer arm. The ribbed boots were to be made smooth. An underslung bolter was to be added and the original helmet removed and replaced with one of the newer Dark Angel helmets. The Sacred Standard is freehand painted.

I tried to make it look like something a veteran would use.
Made the bolter sling from a thin plasticard strip.

It is just Dark Angel green over a black primer with Snot and Goblin green highlights and maybe just a dash of bone mix on the Banner

There was extensive cutting to remove some parts and I used some greenstuff to make it as seamless as possible. To make it look like it had been manufactured like this.
