I am starting to build a 50 pt cryx list with terminus and was wondering how i could change it?

I know I have 11pts left and I know I will need a little bit of bulk in the units and thats what I need help in so any help I will consider

Bulk in the units? you need some units mate. The withershadow combine are not a front line unit, they should be mid-line at most and supporting everybody else with their abilities.

First things first, I am yet to play Terminus but he is next in line for me and thus I have been reading lots of people's thoughts about him.

Now you generally don't want to just design your army around a casters feat because when you come up against somebody who can negate your feat your army is buggered. That said you are screwing up your own feat before the enemy gets involved. Terminus' feat means you collect all the souls within 12" of him. But this relies on him being the closest model eligible. His feat doesn't overrule the rulebook. In your list you have the deathjack, pistol wraiths, withershadow combine and the wraith engine who can claim any of their kills before Terminus. So you need to really think about what those models are giving you over something else for the points. Not all of them will be taking souls on feat turn, pistol wraiths can stop heavies, deathjack can beat them up and the withershadow can be supporting whatever part of the army needs them. But it is something to be very aware of.

Things that will work well;
Bile Thralls, squishy infantry dies to a purge and that's a whole load of souls on feat turn.
Bane Knights, tough makes them harder than bane thralls and they have a higher threat range to begin with.
Mechanithralls with necrosurgeon, sacrificial pawn those shots away and you have a mass of infantry that the enemy has to remove to get to Terminus. Plus they can bring the brute thralls which are brilliant at stopping tramples and hitting things, hard.
Revenant crew, Sacrificial pawn targets again. Protect the leader and all the enemies shooting has done nothing.
Darragh Wrathe, extra threat range and protection from beasts.
Madelyn Corbeau, extra threat range.

I'm not saying you need all of this, but think about what Terminus is. He is the guy who will f*** up the enemy if you get him close enough. He doesn't support his army so the army will have to support him.

I do play Mr.T and this isn't even close to the the kind of army list I would build for him.that said I'll tell you what works for me and what I'd fill your points with. Bodies lots of bodies. My preference is reverent crew and hide the leader behind T and watch your enemy cry foul as they all come back to life. Or mechinthralls lots of them. Why? 1.Mr.T makes them all tough. small based tough horde. 2.Terminus will be impossible to range down with so many bodies to pass his wounds off to.

thank you for the help i will look more into who will collect the souls and i will probably think about putting lots mecinthralls in aswell and i will probably load up my final list aswell when thats done

That's... certainly a rather unique take on Terminus. You have four or five models all vying for souls to get their job done, one of which is your warcaster. That's not a good thing. The Wraith Engine is an expensive model and a mediocre unit on the field. He works alright with certain casters, but Terminus and Venethrax would be at the bottom of that list.

You have no sacrificial pawn infantry to hand ranged damage targeted at Terminus off to. What little infantry you have already has Tough from its UA, so your warcaster's Tough aura is a wasted ability.

Why do you have three machine wraiths? They can only possess non-character warjacks and I've seen very few lists across the table that bring three jacks at all, much less three non-character ones.

If range is what you're aiming for, Terminus can run a very solid ranged threat list but this isn't it. It involves different warjacks and very different infantry.

Are you familiar with Cryx and Warmachine in general? You may be better served by playing smaller games first to see why this isn't a particularly effective combination of units.

I have played lots of differant small games with terminus and lists like this always seem to work out with him, beleive it or not.

First of all I wouldnt of thought that you would need sacrificial pawn on someone who is armour 18 and will eventually get much higher if you have experiance with him (like me).

Secondly I have three machine wraiths because even in small points I will often go up against someone with a jack heavy army because will admit that i am not the best jack killer. This usually works to my advantage because of this.

Thirdly i am not looking for range hence a majority of my models that i am feilding either have incorpreal or stealth or like my writh engine can gain incorpreal every other round.

so there you are I always plan ahead with my lists!
