Hey all! I posted one of these models about a month ago, but my best friend and I started collecting 40k about two months ago and he asked me to paint this model for his 10 year old son. Comments and constructive criticism is welcome! Enjoy!

I gotta say, I like this alot.
I'm not sure if it was intentional, but the extreme highlighting has given the armour almost a glowing-with-power feel to it. Very intriguing.

I agree, the blue highlight is a very nice touch. Hadn't thought of doing that over black, but I like it.

I'm a big fan of painting black with out using pure black. I mixed black with turquoise at 3:1 to base coat the armor. Then I uped the turquoise to 1:1 to highlight and then highligted again with pure turquoise. It makes a nice effect, I just need to work on cleaning it up. Thanks for the compliments!
