Well not only my first wolf but also my first real piece of work. Since i was a kid i practiced on/off on cheap plastic miniatures but never was any good at it. So many years later i decided to try again and put some patience in it and ended up with this guy.
I got some marines and terminators as well and ill take some pictures of those as well later on.
I may continue painting more so if anyone have any tips and tricks it would be much appreciated.

Very good! I like the battle damage that you have done. One thing though...... the silver parts need some highlighting and maybe some devlen mud.

Try using some washes. I found that they really help with the overall look of the model, by adding in some depth (not sure if right term) and removes brush strokes

I agree, you've done a great job and caught a lot of details. Washes will give it even more depth. Great start!

Great job. You have captured a lot of space wolf character! For depth of this kind of models(and also power armoured models), I perfer shading directly in the recesses with a fine detail brush. Use paint with the same consistence as for washes, and it will flow nicely where you want it to be!
