Hi all:

The Realm in Brea is hosting a Warhammer Fantasy Tournament Saturday April 7th, 10am start.

2500 points, $10 entry or $20 purchase, $150 in prizes

A few house / scenario rules will be in effect.
* Units fleeing at the end of the game are worth half points.
* Units at 50% strength or below are worth half points.
* Units that have enemy units in their flank or rear that would negate rank bonuses, also negate steadfast.

I have had a handfull of players tell me they will be here to play, so we should have a small but good turnout.

Club Capri will be there in force. I think at least six of us plan on being there. Any special restrictions?

Fairly Standard scenarios in play with scores based on total victory points, + bonus points.

No restrictions other than models should be WYSIWYG. I like to keep proxies to a minimum, but if some models get left at home or you need a couple of stand ins, thats ok. No empty bases though unless its a model emergency.

I am debating whether or not to allow the new Empire book. If I do both books will be legal for the event, not one or the other. I am open to feedback on this.

Looks like we are hitting about 12 players right now. I max out at sixteen. So anyone else thinking of coming or has friends that may come, definately let us know.

Same, the scenarios were basic but solid (which is good) and the "house rules" really made the games more enjoyable.

A big thanks to all who came out. Hope everyone had a good time. For those that didn't make it, we had 12 players, A great mix of armies, some very nicely painted.

1st, 2nd and 3rd were only a few points apart. Adam's Lizards took 1st, Andy's Brets took 2nd, and Matt's Chaos took 3rd.

Would like some feedback on the house/scenario rules. Any complaints, suggestions, or changes are welcome.

I do know they tend to hurt Goblin and Skaven in particular (which we did not have any of those armies this time around) But my I'm open to suggestions.

That was a very smooth and easy going tournament, thanks Realm, looking forward to visiting again.
