Do they attack at initiative 1 like power fists? it'll be on a dreadknight.

I don't have my codex at hand, so going from memory. A doomfist is a DCCW, which means it is a power weapon that doubles the users strength. That means, it is NOT a power fist, but a power weapon with a special rule allowing them to strike at initiative with double strength.

It's on pg 54 of your GK codex.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Not on Dreadknights. Dreadknights are Monstrous Creatures, not walkers and DCCW only apply to walkers.

Dreadknights with Nemesis Doomfists are Str. 6.

However, you're missing the fact that walkers are not the only thing that can be equipped with a DCCW. There is no rule on pg 73 of the BRB that says only walkers may have them. While it can be inferred that only walkers can gain the bonus, it does not specifically state, "this weapon has no effect if wielded by a non-walker." The reason they reference "the walker" in the rules for it is because the rules for the DCCW are listed under the walker section of the rules.

Something else to note, Wraithlords were armed with two DCCW before the release of the current rules so they really would have had to make mention that non-walkers could not make use of it.

Q: Does a Dreadknight with a Nemesis doomfist strike
at Strength 6 or Strength 10 in close combat? (p34)
A: Strength 6, as it is not a walker.

I stand corrected, have to pay closer attention to the faqs.

We all were, until the FAQ. But at least it gave a purpose to actually taking the Daemon Hammer.

I can't see any issues with it.

DCCWs double a WALKER's S for its attacks.
The NDK is NOT a walker.
Therefore, it just allows the NDK to bypass armour saves and it hits at its NORMAL S of 6.

It's how I played it BEFORE the FAQ. Several other GK players I know also played it that way (but that's how we roll. If it cab be interpreted two ways, take the one that does not advantage you.)

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

The 3rd sentence wasnt really needed since as a MC he ignores the armor saves. lol

Exactly. The only thing it gives you is a Force Weapon. Calling it a Dreadnought CC weapon really added unnecessary confusion to something that could have been as simple as wording it that the DreadKnight may take a Psychic Test and inflict instant death as if armed with a Force Weapon or something to that effect. They could have used the ink more effectively by explaining at which combination of weapons officially gives the DK an additional attack in CC.

Calling it a DCCW was necessary, since GK Dreadnoughts come with them as standard; the Dreadknight is not the only user of a NDoomfist.

Whilst it could've been easier to state outright in the rule that Dreadknights do not benefit from it being a DCCW in order to eliminate issues, this is a GW rule we're talking about, where even their FAQs have needed FAQs.
