Hey guys, heres my first Vendetta

I'd like to know what you think, I realize the images aren't the tops, but my camera leaves a lot to be desired. Do you guys have any tips on how to make images a bit better, even if the camera itself is pretty dodge?

Yeah I had to go back to a previous thread I botched the same thing on because I remembered that someone told me how to do it. Fixed now?

Also, that snow base I did before I asked my little brother (yes, my little brother beats the hell through me painting-wise and basing-wise) how to do it, which is why its kinda just...white flock basically. I tried though ha

Very cool, awesome paint. but the wing tip lascannons are on the ends of the wing landing gear! unless its gonna sit on its lascannons when it has landed.

The 2 pads on the body itself are actually long enough for the lascannons to be just off the ground, or just brushing it. It isn't on the ground often anyway, unless its been immobilized, but yeah, it actually works out (which was a relief, believe you me!)

The pic quality is quite poor. From what I can tell the model could use some shading and highlighting.

It's a valiant effort but I can't say I like the look of it. You glued the lascannons on the landing gear. Also, said lascannons are upside-down. Your colors are very flat and require shading and highlighting. Finally, your photography is very poor. Try using natural lighting and multiple lamps to try and make something of a lightbox. This will reflect light better and be a lot less glaring - nobody wants to see the carpeting in your room! Also, don't use the flash on your camera since that blasts out a lot of the detail.

cheers srm, ill try multiple lamps and a box to provide a blank background next time, devoid of carpet.

and I didn't glue the lascannons on the landing gear, they are magnetized on a square platform which sticks to a magnet on the wing, allowing barrels to swivel to engage, or be removed for a weapon destroyed result. the 'upside down' was a personal choice, I think they looked better casing-outward than they would have exposed. but I can understand why one wouldn't like them being upside down.

and the colours are being worked on for my next one, getting my little bro's help to highlight and shade. It helps to have a good painter in the family ha. colours aren't my strong point.
