Hello guys
So iv already done a post or two about this subject but thought, what the hell i'll give it yet another bash. As the post titles say, ima looking for gaming geeks in hertfordshire. Taken a very long pause on the hobby and now iv got back into it, i dont actually know anybody that plys or even hobbies anymore. Is there actually anybody out there that either hobbies or games that like me have a phobia of going into a GW cos of the predominatly young crowed???
Anyways thought its only polite to ask as my wife is getting bored of me asking is she thinks this enate little plastic figure looks cool or not hahaha
Happy Dakking folks

I think it was a happy accident that I saw your thread - I don't usually check this part of the forum out much!
If you are looking for stores to game (ignoring GW Stevenage(!)), then there's Battleworlds in Hitchin (which is, in my opinion, very much GW-Lite, but is, it seems, starting to stock other lines now) or Lost Ark Games ( http://www.lostarkgames.com) in Buntingford, which does a large mix of GW, other minis and board-/card games.
There are also various clubs around, but I don't really go to any, so I can't comment on them!

Hi,
I'm in Herts, work in N. Herts, live in S. Herts. I don't really have any armies ready to go but can try to remember and contact you when I do I am currently building up Hobby style some Blood Angels, Orks and Necrons. I also have a chunk of Guard as far as 40k goes. More of a hobbiest than a gamer but would like to get a game in again soon!
I think John from GW Stevenage still runs a club at St. Nicks early in the week (Monday or Tuesday) can't remember. I've not attended but John is, as all GW staffers, very enthusiastic about the hobby
Other than that Late openings at Battle Worlds, Hitchin or GW Stevenage on Thursday evenings. I know both get full up quickly and I'm not sure if you have to book in advance. Both are pretty tight for space when the tables are being used.

Hi,
I'm in Stevenage too. There is a club on Monday nights (6-10) in the community centre by St Nicholas shops. The gaming there is preominantly 40k (and Munchkin) although some of us are trying to get some other games established too. It is a friendly group though and new players are always more than welcome.
