So I've decided to get into 40k after being tempted for a decade now and slowly building a Tyranid army. Ive gone to a local shop to check out the "scene" and it wasnt really rubbin me right. Seemed like nice guys but young and super nerdy. Which isn't a bad thing, I'm not old by any stretch (27) and I have a nerdy side but I honestly couldn't see myself chilling with the guys I've seen. I'd like to find some people who are bar legal and aren't ultra-nerdy. Nothing against anyone, again, I just want to find some people to play that i can crack a beer and get along with! Cheers all.

Yes, Oakland in California. Sorry, should've specified!

Head over to Endgame. Its just off of 9th and broadway, so getting there by Bart is really easy. Apparently theres a lack of 40k players there now because everyone is waiting for 5th edition to come out.

You could also checkout Gamescape in SF on Divisadero and Oak. I like the vibe there, really small and friendly. Thursday nights usually have about 3-4 games going.

If you want to play a game just hit me up! We can reserve a table or something.

I live in Bay Point CA and have an awesome 6x4 table in the garage with a ton of terrain. I usually try and game at least once a week. Usually Friday evenings or Sat/Sun afternoons.
