If the Imperium had a list of the top Ten Special Characters they would want killed, who do you think would be on the list.

I'm not real fluff savvy, so the only one I could think of is Abby.

So who else (From least to most) would be on this list and why?

There are tons. But I figure those gotta be some of the top......maybe not Swarmlord.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

I don't really see farsight making the list. He has never even fought against the Imperium before, only orks. They may in fact want to support him in starting a civil war against the Tau Empire.
An honestly Aun'va is a top priority to die only in your dreams Tadashi lol The tau are no where near as big a threat as Chaos is. I would say

1.) Abaddon
2-4.) Daemon Primarchs, remember them?lol
5.) Ghaz
6.) Any and all demons
7.) Swarmlord

Chaos and tyranids are the major threats to the Imperium, they are the ones threatening to destroy it. All the other races are minor nuisances that pop up here and there. The full might of the Imperium would be able to match up against and protect mankind from those other threats. (orks, tau, eldar, de, and crons)

Erebus is probably at the top.

The guy did have a hand in kickstarting the Heresy and pushing it into a full fledged war.

Spoiler:

Considering his recent arrest and escape and the murder of a couple of Grey Knights. GK must be pretty pissed at losing him. Sounds like Draigo will be called in to lay the smackdown on the first heretic. (REALLY hoping Draigo never makes it into a novel except to get bitchslapped

Yeah, if I were an Inquisitor I'd probably try and manipulate him into starting a war with the Tau Empire, or even cut a deal...maybe a non-aggresion pact, especially since I've heard part of the Tau Empire lies outside the Astronomican - if that's the case, we can let the Tau handle the threats in that area (meatshields). But yes, I'd be pressing for a full Assassination Cadre go after the Prophet of Truth and the rest of the High Council...if possible they should also try to destroy High Charity by sabotaging it's power plants.

Vect, Imotekh, Eerebus, any Tau. The Imperium isn't even aware of such beings, let alone prioritizing them.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Eldrad isn't dead. His mortal body is lost, but he still has functioning Spirit Stones and one apprentice who believes that his mind and soul can survive their fight with the warp itself.

That's all GW need to bring him back in the next Eldar codex.

Ok ya I can see the high council being on the list, just not as high up as before. I mean take them out and who knows what could happen to the Empire? its not really talked about, but they could de-evolve and start fighting amongst themselves like before the Ethreals arrived.

I wonder if gamesworkshop will bring back some of the traitor primarchs in future editions. Right now they are all kinda just sitting doing nothing. The loyal primarchs all have excuses for not being in the picture, they are all wounded or off to the eye or terror. So it is hard to say the demon primarchs belong on the list right now, if for no other reason than to punish them or avenge the Emperor

I am surprised no one has mentioned it yet. But the imperium DOES have a top 10 kill list. At the top is actually an ork named Orkamedes. He is pretty much THE mekboy that has created every piece of new ork tech including their titans. I don't remember if the fluff bit had more to that or just said he was at the top of their kill list. But they basically send out a new assassin every day to try to kill him.

Suffolk, where the Aliens roam.

Well as the OP said special characters, I'll discount anyone who has never had one, so my guess..

1. Abaddon the Despoiler - for crimes against the Cadia Gate, and thirteen attempted incursions into Imperial Territory, including use of a Planet Killer vessel. In addition wanted Traitor from the Horus Heresy, Captain of the 1st Company of the Lunar Wolves, later the Sons of Horus, Current Leader of the Black Legion.

2. Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka - Goff Warlord and instigator of two wars upon the world of Armageddon. Destruction of the Hades Hive using asteroids, and massive destruction across the Armageddon region of the Imperium.

3. Asdrubael Vect - Deemed High ranking member of the Eldar pirates that have ravaged the Imperium for centuries. These so called Dark Eldar strike without notice and cause wanton damage to a Imperial world, before leaving with many Imperial Citizens. This Lord has led several high level incursions into Imperial Space, at a count of millions of missing Imperial Citizens.

4. Typhus, Herald of Nurgle - Traitor of the Death Guard Chapter, wanted for incursions against Imperial Space, mass genocide and the unleashing of several plagues that caused great destruction to Imperial worlds.

5. Imotekh the Stormlord - A Necron Lord with a huge force, that has broken into Imperial Territory many times. Has brought shame on the Black Templars Chapter, and caused wanton destruction with no apparent goal or decree across several Imperial Worlds. Deemed a threat to Imperial assets in the region of the Eastern Fringe.

6. Fabius Bile - for crimes against Imperial citizens, experimentation and worse, under the alias the Primogenitor. Also crimes against the Astartes, impersonation of an Adepticus Mechanicus Magos Biologis, theft of Imperial relics and involvement in several known incursions into Imperial Territory. In addition wanted Traitor, former Apothecary of the Emperor's Children.

7. Lufgt Huron, the Tyrant of Badab. Wanted for treachery and taking actions that led to the Badab war. Crimes include subversion of allied Chapter commanders, open warfare on loyal Chapters, and escaping divine punishment into the Maelstrom. Former Chapter Master of the Astral Claws, now renegades the Red Corsairs.

8. Wazdakka Gutsmek - Ork leader of Kult of Speed, a large growing faction of Orks dedicated to destruction and carnage where ever they have found opposition. Wanted for the capture of several Imperial Worlds including Scalex VI, and the personal hand to hand defeat of a Warlord Class Titan of the Adpeticus Titanicus.

9. Ahriman - For deception against Imperial Agents, including Inquisitor Czevak, for incursions into Imperial Territory, including Lorn V and his actions during the 13th Black Crusade against the Imperium. In addition he is Traitor and former Chief Librarian of the Thousand Sons Legion.

10. Nazdreg Ug Urdgrub - Bad Moon Warlord, allied with Ghazghkull Thraka launched a damaging strike against Piscina, escaping upon his Space Hulk Scyalla, and then causing great damage to the relief and evacuation effort of Medusa V, stealing a Imperial transport, and potentially destroying or taking a Battleship, Terra's Defiance.

Of course if we are talking about anyone fluffwise, add in some Traitor Primarchs and yeah, Orkimedes for certain. Would be an interesting list to see, but I don't recall ever seeing one before.

"That's not an Ork, its a girl.." - Last words of High General Daran Ul'tharem, battle of Ursha VII.

Looking it up since it has been a while since i have read it. its "Orkimedies" he is the smartest Ork in 40k. And the part about him being at the top of the imperiums hit list is in the Armageddon codex. It doesn't mention anyone else on the list just that he is at the top of it.

It depends upon whose list you're looking at.

A SM Chapter Master who leads a Chapter that mainly fights Orks would have Ghazzy at the top of his list, as would Straken.

But if you looked at Karamazov's it'd be something like:

"Inquisitor Karamazov's Most Wanted List:
1) EVERYBODY!
2) EVERYBODY ELSE!"
